The National Investment Company is a holding joint-stock company established in 1986 with a capital of 1,200,000,000 Libyan dinars. It is a company with legal personality and independent financial liability, operating in accordance with the provisions of Libyan commercial law and its complementary legislations.

The company aims to manage and invest the shareholders funds in economic projects and in financial markets both domestically and internationally.

And to invest its funds in various investment fields with the aim of growing the shareholders wealth, achieving returns for them in particular, and fostering the development of the national economy in general.

«The Launch of the 63rd Edition of the Damascus International Fair with Libyan Participation»

The official opening ceremony of the 63rd edition of the Damascus International Fair has commenced, attended by the Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the National Investment Holding Company, Mr. Al-Saghir Mohammed Maelif, and the Ambassador of Libya to the Syrian Arab Republic, Mr. Walid Hassan Ammar, alongside a number of officials and representatives of participating companies and institutions. The National Investment Holding Company is participating in the Libyan Pavilion at the fair, as part of its efforts to strengthen the presence of Libyan companies and open new horizons for communication, coordination, and establishing partnerships with international companies and institutions from various sectors and fields. The Damascus International Fair is an important economic platform that provides opportunities for exchanging expertise and exploring areas of cooperation and investment, contributing to strengthening economic relations and partnerships between Libya and countries around the world.

National Investment Holding Company and the General Exhibitions and Conferences Authority Sign a Strategic Partnership to Manage and Operate the Tajoura Industrial Exhibition

The National Investment Holding Company signed a strategic partnership agreement this morning with the General Exhibitions and Conferences Authority, under which the Authority will assume responsibility for the management, operation, and investment of the Tajoura Industrial Exhibition. The partnership aims to support and develop the infrastructure of the exhibitions sector and strengthen its role in serving the national economy. The agreement was signed in the presence of Mr. Al-Saghir Mohammed Ma’ilef, Chairman of the Board and General Manager of the National Investment Holding Company, and Eng. Essam Al-Aoul, Chairman of the General Exhibitions and Conferences Authority, along with a number of directors of departments and offices from both the Authority and the National Investment Holding Company. The Tajoura Industrial Exhibition is located on an area of approximately five hectares in the Tajoura district. It represents a significant project within efforts to develop the exhibitions and economic and industrial events sector in the capital, Tripoli. The facility includes a range of amenities and infrastructure, including covered exhibition halls, parking areas, green spaces, and integrated service facilities, providing a suitable environment for hosting exhibitions, specialized events, and professional forums. The project is intended to host specialized industrial and commercial exhibitions, as well as economic and investment events. It will also provide a platform bringing together companies, institutions, and investors, while enhancing opportunities for communication and partnerships between the private sector and various economic stakeholders. This is expected to contribute to supporting local products and opening new avenues for investment. Both sides emphasized that the partnership represents an important step toward strengthening cooperation among national institutions and developing the exhibitions and conferences sector, which serves as an important tool for supporting economic activity, improving the business environment, encouraging investment, expanding trade, and opening new channels of cooperation with companies and investors from inside and outside Libya. Chairman of the National Investment Holding Company Launches the First Two School Textbook Printing Lines in Libya After a 12-Year Suspension

In a significant step marking the revival of one of Libya’s most important national printing projects, the Chairman of the National Investment Holding Company (NIC), Mr. Al-Saghir Muailef, officially inaugurated the operation of the first two production lines for printing school textbooks at the Al-Manahij Printing and Publishing Company, following a suspension that lasted twelve years. The inauguration ceremony was attended by members of the Board of Directors of Al-Manahij Printing and Publishing Company, the company’s Supervisory Authority, directors of departments and offices, as well as a number of officials and technical specialists. The attendees reviewed the readiness of the production lines, their operational mechanisms, and the rehabilitation and modernization works that have been completed. The launch of these two production lines marks a new beginning for Al-Manahij Printing and Publishing Company in restoring its national role in producing school textbooks. The project is expected to strengthen local production capacity, promote the localization of the printing industry, and ensure the timely delivery of high-quality school textbooks. Mr. Al-Saghir Muailef emphasized that the reopening of the production lines represents a strategic milestone within the company’s development plan. He noted that the initiative reinforces reliance on national capabilities, supports the government’s efforts to advance the education sector, and contributes to localizing industries associated with educational services. He also praised the dedication and hard work of the technical and administrative teams whose efforts made this achievement possible.
